NO ACCOUNT, NO DATABASE

There is no sign-up and no server that stores your readings. Everything the site remembers about you is held in your own browser, on the device you used.

WHAT STAYS ON YOUR DEVICE

Your answers — the name you gave, how you asked to be spoken of, your birth date, hour and place, what sent you here, and which hand you write with and showed — are saved in this browser’s local storage.

So are your past readings: the text, a downscaled copy of your photograph, and the two pictures made for it. “Forget this one” and “Forget them all” delete them, and so does clearing your browser data.

WHAT LEAVES YOUR DEVICE

To produce a reading, your photograph and your birth details are sent to Google’s Gemini API, which returns the written reading, the lit-line version of your photograph, and the arcanum card. Google processes that request under its own API terms.

Nothing is written to a database of ours along the way — the request passes through and the result is handed straight back to your browser.

While you type a birthplace, what you have typed is sent to Photon, an open geocoder over OpenStreetMap data, so it can suggest towns. Only those letters travel — no other answer of yours goes with them — and you may ignore the suggestions and type the place yourself.

MEASUREMENT

The site records how far people get through the questions, so the parts that lose them can be mended. Each step reports that it was reached, along with how you asked to be spoken of, your year of birth, and your town when you picked it from the suggestions — never your name, never your photograph, never the reading itself.

Where a measurement tool is configured for this site, those records are passed to it, and it may set its own cookies. Nothing else on the site sets cookies, and there is no advertising.

PAYMENTS

No payment is taken at present. When purchases are enabled, card details will be handled by the payment provider and will never reach this site.

YOUR CONTROL

Clearing this browser’s data for the site removes every trace of you from it: profile, readings, pictures and any unlock. There is nothing left elsewhere for us to delete on your behalf.
